- Primary Stroke Center
- ED Beds: 14
- Location: Burlington, WI
- Charting: EPIC preferred
- Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics
- Approximately 1% pediatric patients
- Free parking

- Stroke/neurological emergencies
- STEMI/cardiac cases

- AMI patients requiring air transport
- Psychiatric patients

Staffing & Support
- RN ratio: 1:4 days / 1:5 nights
- Tech ratio: approximately 1:10
- Charge RN carries a mostly full patient load
- Phlebotomy support available
- Respiratory Therapy: 24/7
- Hospitalist: 24/7
- Midlevel coverage: 10 AM–10 PM
- No floating expected
Schedule & Other Details
- Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday coverage: Every other holiday
- Time off: Up to 7 days can be approved; more requires manager approval
- Orientation: 1 day hospital + 1 day unit
- COVID vaccine: Required per AAH
- No NICU
