CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be ready to work a night shift schedule. This position includes responsibilities in a charge role, with additional compensation provided.

Work Schedule

  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Weekend Availability: Required from Friday to Sunday
  • Call Requirements: Variable, typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks
  • Floating: May be required within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Holiday Expectations

Holidays are an important aspect of this role. The following guidelines apply to holiday work requirements:

  • If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work that holiday.
  • If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler must work both.
  • If three major holidays occur in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them.

Major holidays include:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving/Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Registered Nurse required.
  • First-time travelers are welcomed to apply.
  • Clinical screening will be conducted to ensure a suitable fit. Candidates will be reviewed based on clinical qualifications and sent to the manager for final consideration.

Compliance

Full compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time. Non-compliance may result in a two-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information

Locals are welcome to apply and will be offered the same rate as travelers. Orientation hours are non-billable and vary based on contract length, such as 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment.
