CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team for the winter holiday period. This role will involve providing exceptional care to patients in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The position requires flexibility and a commitment to working during major holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced CVOR setting.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills and techniques to assist in surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the facility as needed, adhering to the scope of practice.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CVOR specialty.
• Travelers are accepted, including first-time travelers.
• Must successfully pass a clinical screening to demonstrate clinical fit.

Work Schedule

This position involves 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week, typically from 06:30 to 19:00. The schedule includes alternating weekend duties and holiday coverage as detailed in the holiday policy.

Holiday Coverage Expectations

Travelers are expected to be available for holiday shifts. If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work as follows:

• 1 major holiday: Work required.
• 2 major holidays: Work required for both.
• 3 major holidays: Work required for 2 of the holidays.

Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies is required to ensure the timely start of the position. Non-compliance can result in a delay of up to 2 weeks.

Notes
