Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular procedural or operating room setting strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current West Virginia or Compact RN license required; pending license may be considered for submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong competence in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including structural heart cases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with on-call responsibilities
• Experience with Cerner preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the CVOR and procedural setting with a focus on patient safety and positive outcomes
• Act as circulator and assist with moderate sedation, patient assessments, medications, and pre- and post-operative care
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including structural cases
• Respond to on-call needs and contribute to weekend coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and the procedural team to maintain efficient case flow
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and follow established clinical protocols
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining calm, confident decision-making in a high-acuity surgical environment
