Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves contributing to diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Schedule

  • 4x10 hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • On-call requirements as described below

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a daily caseload of 8-10 cases per technician.
  • Demonstrate competency in all aspects of Cath Lab diagnostic and intervention procedures, including structural work.
  • Participate in call rotation, which includes 2-3 weekday nights and approximately 1 weekend call every 4-5 weeks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the Cath Lab.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using Cerner for charting.
  • May be required to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs, though primarily assigned to the Cath Lab.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
  • At least 1 year of direct Cath Lab experience is mandatory; candidates must demonstrate expertise in the required areas.
  • Current and active state nursing license required; applicants with a pending license may be considered, but must have an active license to begin the assignment.
  • ARRT registration is necessary for this role.
