Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CV) nurses are needed at a medical facility specializing in cardiovascular critical care. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing or recovering from open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation, and other advanced interventions. The position offers a guaranteed 48 hours per week, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; 2 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) cardiovascular nursing; professional proficiency in telemetry, pressor administration, positive inotropes, pacemaker management, chest tubes, cath/EP lab recovery, and pericardial drains.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience for night shifts, experience with open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be familiar with the use of advanced equipment such as Alaris intravenous pumps, GE bedside monitors, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and Impella devices.
