Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurses are sought for a healthcare organization in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing critical care services to patients in a high-acuity setting with an emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and excellence in patient care. The position offers guaranteed hours and requires a commitment to maintaining clinical standards and collaborating effectively within the unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS and ACLS; relevant education and licensure as an HCP; 3 years of critical care experience; location within commuting distance; minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro and trauma experience are considered a plus.
• Float: Float to telemetry units or as needed to assist other areas, with travel/agency float policy applicable.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a 25-bed ICU unit with a patient ratio of 1:2. Responsibilities include bedside procedures such as cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, and Impella management. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are to be attached. The unit promotes a strong collaborative teamwork environment and is working towards achieving a Unit of Distinction and Pathway to Excellence certification. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
