Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, experience on a Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor, proficiency in EKG interpretation, phlebotomy, and respiratory treatments, ability to perform and manage BiPAP/CPAP devices with preprogrammed settings
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, prior work in an acute inpatient rehab setting, familiarity with Epic charting system, experience with complex patient care procedures related to pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, and orthopedic recoveries
- Additional Information: The primary unit is inpatient rehab but may require floating to other inpatient units and emergency departments to meet facility needs. Must be able to perform an array of clinical tasks including administration of blood and blood products, wound care, respiratory treatments, and the management of assistive devices. Flexibility to float within scope is expected.

- On-Call Requirement: No
- Weekend Shifts: 8 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule period, including combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
- Onboarding and Compliance: Completion of 24 hours orientation, including EPIC EMR modules, infusion pump, and glucometer training before the start date
- Additional Details: RNs must be able to manage pulmonary and cardiac conditions, including chronic conditions such as COPD, post-MI, and post-vascular surgeries. Candidates should be able to perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and respiratory treatments as ordered, and support patient safety initiatives.
