Opportunity:
RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT
Job Details:
• Evening/Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 8 or 12-hour shift options available
• 4x12 shifts also available if preferred
• Every other weekend required, with some holiday coverage
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both days and nights
• Float required to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive unit
• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties with experience in adult and geriatric populations
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required as needed
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required - AHA only
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Key skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, ventilator management, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
