Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT
Job Details:
• Evening/Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 8 or 12-hour shift options available
• 4x12 shift schedule available if preferred
• Every other weekend required, with some holiday coverage
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both days and nights
• 28 orientation hours required
• Block schedule likely available to accommodate scheduling needs
• Travelers are required to float as needed to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive unit
• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties with experience in adult and geriatric populations
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required as needed
• 5 years of experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required - AHA only
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (two attempts allowed; passing score of 80% or higher required)
• Required skills include but are not limited to: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, high flow nasal cannula, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and traumatic brain injury care
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
