    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Location

    Columbia, SC | Acute Care Hospital

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Rotating Shifts (7:00–17:30 and 9:30–20:00) | Shifts are grouped for consistency week to week rather than alternating daily | On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week; call requirements may vary based on staffing needs

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) setting at a 1:1 patient ratio
    • Assist with cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, remaining on unit until procedures are complete
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
    • Participate in rotating on-call schedule including weekend and weekday call shifts
    • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge provided by the staffing agency is required prior to start
    • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
    • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP nursing experience required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start
    • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
    • Previous permanent or PRN staff at this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic charting system
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    • Candidates with South Carolina RN license already in hand are prioritized
