    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Location

    Columbia, SC | Acute Care Hospital

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (shift end may vary based on procedure completion)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) lab at a 1:1 patient ratio
    • Assist with cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, remaining on-site until all procedures are complete
    • Participate in an on-call rotation, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week; call requirements may adjust based on staffing needs
    • Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system
    • Wear hospital-issued scrubs and comply with all facility safety protocols, including radiation safety requirements
    • Be prepared to support emergency response efforts during hurricane season (June–November)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
    • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
    • Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with both Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures
    • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
    • Ability to adapt to a variable schedule based on procedure volume and unit needs
