Description: Full Time Outpatient position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No nights, weekends, or on-call required. Minimum education requirement is RN graduate; BSN preferred. Essential job functions include performing treadmill and nuclear stress testing. Conduct initial patient interviews and make preliminary assessments of test data. Prepare studies for physician interpretation. Work closely with physicians and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely results. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Provide patient and family education. Assist with monitoring during special procedures such as stress-echo studies and tilt table studies. Recognize emergency situations and respond according to policy and protocol. Identify and interpret arrhythmias. Perform conscious sedation as needed.
