Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Travel RN Unit Manager for a leadership assignment in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily resident care activities.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and nursing standards.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and monitor resident outcomes.
  • Assist with care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Respond appropriately to clinical concerns and staffing needs.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
  • Previous Unit Manager or Nurse Leadership experience preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and clinical operations.
