Job Summary
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care at a leading facility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This is a 14-week travel assignment on the Postpartum unit (FCC - 5WC), focusing on providing comprehensive care to new mothers and their newborns. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring experienced professionals who can adapt quickly and deliver exceptional patient care.
This role involves working night shifts, including required weekend rotations, within a supportive yet demanding setting. You will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and recovery of postpartum patients, as well as the health and safety of their infants, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a critical care phase.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience as a Registered Nurse in a Postpartum specialty.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Resides outside a 50-mile radius of Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to postpartum and newborn care.
- Proficiency in maternal and infant health monitoring, including vital signs, fundal checks, and newborn assessments.
- Ability to provide comprehensive patient education on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Shift Details
- Shift Type: Nights (NOC)
- Shift Duration: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Days per Week: 3 shifts per week
- Weekend Rotation: Required

- Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) during the assignment period.
Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
