Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Mother/Baby care at a prominent facility in Cumming, Georgia. This role is integral to a 40-bed Mother/Baby unit that supports approximately 4000 deliveries annually, emphasizing a family-centered care approach. You will provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care, ensuring a supportive and safe environment for new mothers and their infants.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of maternal and neonatal health status.
- Educate new parents on newborn care, feeding techniques (breastfeeding and bottle-feeding), and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor and manage common postpartum complications and newborn conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience in a Mother/Baby or Postpartum unit.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility address (1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, Georgia 30041).
