Level III NICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position. There is flexibility for candidates interested in longer contracts.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend shifts are required—6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period, with a variable and self-scheduling approach.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Level III NICU RN to provide high-quality care for neonates. The position will involve floating between units as needed. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and experience in a Level III NICU setting, as care will be provided in a Level IV facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess neonate patients, managing critical care needs.
• Support and educate families regarding care practices and infant health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of NICU nursing experience, with sufficient exposure to Level III care preferred.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Valid RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on neonatal care.
