Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. This is a 91-day travel assignment ending January 5, 2027.

Highlights:

• Medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities specializing in vascular disease diagnoses
• 16-bed unit featuring 12 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms with adult patient population
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float required; weekend coverage includes approximately half of contract shifts
• Orientation provided with onsite module completion during initial training period

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, wound care, central line management, and blood product administration
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
