Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical/Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with half of scheduled shifts on weekends. Patient ratio 1:6. 19-bed unit with maximum census of 20 patients.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit serving young adults through geriatric patients with diverse care needs
• 18 private rooms and one semi-private room providing a comfortable patient environment
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• 91-day travel assignment with 16 hours of orientation
• Broad range of clinical experiences including telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV management, and dysrhythmia interpretation

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, and wound care
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply for certain local county residents
