Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Topeka, Kansas.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. This position will focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Candidates should be prepared to float to other post-surgical and medical surgical inpatient floors as necessary.
The unit utilizes the Epic charting system, with a testing option available as needed.
This 32-bed unit provides care for a diverse range of general medical patients, addressing various diagnoses, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as managing dialysis and various infections.
The typical staffing ratio is 1:6, ensuring adequate support and attention for every patient.
Visible tattoos are permitted provided they are appropriate for a professional setting. Piercings are acceptable if they do not interfere with job duties and maintain a professional appearance.
Candidates must provide documentation of immunity status for Hep B, MMR, and Varicella (either through titers or vaccination completion), as well as evidence of TDaP and influenza vaccination or exemption requests during flu season. TB documentation is also required.
This position is located in Topeka, KS.
