Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Topeka, Kansas.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Neuro
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Neuro nursing. The nurse will provide care for patients with acute and subacute neurological conditions, including strokes and transient ischemic attacks, as well as general medical concerns. The role demands a commitment to high-quality patient care through clinical expertise, teamwork, and critical thinking.
This position is located on a 31-bed unit that serves both medical-surgical and neurological patients, including those with behavioral health disorders. The staff will care for patients with a significant history of behavioral health issues but no prior behavioral health experience is necessary.
Documentation of immunization status for Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella (through titer or completed vaccination series) is required. Additional requirements include TDaP vaccine and an influenza vaccine or exemption during flu season, as well as tuberculosis (TB) documentation.

This position is based in Topeka, KS.
