Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Department trauma level, STEMI receiving, stroke center with 12 beds and trauma bays. The role includes managing common diagnoses such as abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; ability to work night shifts, with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency or trauma nursing is preferred.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with at least 36 hours per week, starting from 11/02/2026 through 02/01/2027.
- Additional Information: The role involves self-scheduling, with a requirement of a minimum of six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule. Full-time and part-time staff are expected to participate in weekend and holiday rotations. The charge nurse may take assignments, and team members will perform tasks like ABGs, EKGs, and lab draws in a supportive ER environment.
