**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Surgical Oncology!** **Job Description:** - Position / Specialty: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - Shifts: Nights (various days of the week) - Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care - First-timers accepted: Yes; teaching hospital experience required for first travel assignment - Weekend Requirement: Yes, as needed by the unit - Certifications Required: AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN license - On-call Requirement: No - Floating: Yes, may float within scope and potentially to sister facilities based on needs - Total Staffed Beds: 36 - Charting System: Epic - Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:6 (may flex based on staffing and unit needs) - Scrub Color: Navy - Special Requirements: - Teaching hospital experience is essential - Focus on surgical oncology procedures related to abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Primarily care for patients with known cancer diagnoses requiring surgical interventions - Support patients in achieving specific post-operative milestones for discharge - No chemotherapy or biotherapy administered; chemo certification not required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
