**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Oncology Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - Position: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - Shift: Nights - Days: Various days of the week - Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience - First-Timers: Welcome! Must have teaching hospital experience for first travel assignment - Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs - Certifications Required: - AHA BLS - CO or Compact RN License - On-Call Requirement: No - Floating: Yes, required to float within scope to meet facility needs and may float to sister facilities as necessary **Unit Details:** - Total Staffed Beds: 36 - Charting System: Epic - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6 (may flex based on staffing and unit needs) - Scrub Color: Navy - Special Requirements: - Teaching hospital experience is required - Focus on surgical oncology, primarily handling abdominal and pelvic procedures - Care for patients with known cancer diagnoses needing surgical interventions - Support patients in achieving specific post-operative milestones for discharge - Note: No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit, and chemo certification is not required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
