**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Oncology Team!** - Position/Specialty: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - Shifts: Rotating Shifts - Days of the Week: Various days - Years of Experience Required: 2 years acute care experience - First-Timers Accepted: Yes; must have teaching hospital experience - Weekend Requirements: Yes, per unit needs - Certifications Required: AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN license - On-Call Requirement: No - Floating: Yes, may float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities based on needs - Total Staffed Beds: 36 - Charting: Epic - Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:6 (may flex based on staffing and unit needs) - Scrub Color: Navy - Special Requirements: - Must have teaching hospital experience - Focus on surgical oncology with majority of procedures related to abdomen or pelvis (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Care for patients with known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions - Assist patients in achieving specific post-op milestones for discharge - No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit - Chemo certification not required Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
