Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active MA RN license, EPIC experience, and 2+ years of relevant nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• 12-hour evening shift schedule, working every other weekend
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Floating to an affiliated hospital may be required as needed

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must be separated from the health system for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients
• Day one pass/fail competency test administered upon arrival at orientation, with only one attempt allowed
• Two attempts permitted to pass Relias testing during onboarding in preparation for onsite testing
• Pass/fail testing includes Tele/ECG and Medication assessments
• Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
• Previous employees of any affiliated health system facility must complete a 6-month break before returning, regardless of employment type
