Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring MA licensure, Epic experience, and 2+ years of med/surg tele nursing experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit with telemetry patient population
• 12-hour evening shift, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must be open to floating to an additional hospital facility as needed

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a day-one pass/fail test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt only)
• Must complete Relias testing during onboarding to prepare for onsite testing (two attempts allowed)
• Required vaccinations: COVID vaccine plus booster and flu (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Must be separated from the health system for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
