Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position requiring MA licensure and strong telemetry experience across multiple units.

Details

  • Float pool position within the Nursing department of a hospital setting
  • May float between Med/Surg Tele units, PCU, ICU, and ED to care for medsurg boarders
  • 12-hour rotating shifts, days and nights, with every other weekend required
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • Utilizes Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (must be in hand)
  • Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
  • Strong telemetry experience required due to multi-unit floating
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months prior to consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to medsurg boarder patients across multiple unit types including PCU, ICU, and ED
  • Required to complete Tele/ECG and Medication pass/fail testing
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
  • All previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must observe a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
