Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of MS Tele experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Float pool position within a hospital setting, floating between MS Tele units, PCU, ICU, and ED to care for med-surg boarders
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering day/evening, every other weekend
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Strong telemetry experience required due to multi-unit float assignments
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing

Additional Information

• Care for a variety of patients across multiple units including MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ED
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities for 6+ months before returning
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
