Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross for BLS)
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients across primary and float units
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with passing scores required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Travel experience not required for consideration
