Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital assignment requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• On-call requirements not specified

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may only work one assignment at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
