Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit at a hospital main campus
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs, with facility honoring preferences when possible
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Certifications must be active and in hand, not pending

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases and any license hits will not be accepted
