Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night 3x12 shifts (7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm), with shifts subject to change to meet operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, with potential cross-coverage to related units and the ED
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation; passing score required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
