Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital position requiring OH or compact RN licensure and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• May care for patients on ventilators
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted or rotated based on operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license (Standard or Compact) in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele or related specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, dated within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, medical or religious exemptions only

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
