Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital assignment requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating 3x12 shifts (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license, Ohio or compact, in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted; must be active at time of consideration
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• No prior travel experience required for consideration
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed individually, but open cases and any professional license hits are not accepted
