Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with acceptable scores required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to a Med/Surg Tele population
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• Any hits on professional license are not accepted
