Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring Med/Surg and Step down experience with floating to any hospital area.

Details

• Work in the 3rd Floor Overflow unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Med/Surg and Step down experience required
• May be floated to any area of the hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK State Board or multistate compact eNLC) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document responses to nursing interventions
• Administer medications and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans with patients and families and coordinate discharge information
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility
• Returning workers may extend an assignment only once up to a total of 26 weeks, followed by a 6-month separation before reapplying
• 30-day written notice required to cancel or end an assignment early
