Assignment Overview

Join our dynamic team providing exceptional care in a MedSurg/Tele setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and patient-centric care. This role demands adaptability and clinical flexibility to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment.

  • Local Candidate Policy: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with chest pain, syncope, and angina.
  • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and medication drip management.
  • Manage trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts.
  • Float to other nursing units as required to provide flexible staffing support.
  • Work collaboratively with the department's multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Skills in stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and medication gtt management

Preferred:

  • First-time travelers may be considered but are not preferred
