RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Concord, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled RN with experience in MedSurg/Tele units. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in cardiac and stroke care, and be adaptable to floating to different units as needed. This role is based in a supportive teaching hospital environment.

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
  • Local Candidate Policy: Must live 50 miles outside of the home unit
  • Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and provide stroke care.
  • Manage medications including cardiac drips and Heparin.
  • Perform procedures such as tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and PIV starts.
  • Provide flexible support and float to various units as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

Preferred:

  • Not preferred but first-time travelers will be considered
