RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Concord, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele unit assignment in Concord, NC. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in medical telemetry, with the ability to manage a variety of patient types and common diagnoses such as chest pain and syncope. The position requires flexibility to float within designated regional facilities as necessary.

Assignment Details

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
  • Shift times: 0650-1910; 1850-0710
  • Assignment Length: Not provided
  • Number of Openings: Not provided
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Support within the Department: Supervisor, Charge RN, Resource RN, RT, Phlebotomy
  • Floating: Required within specified regional facilities
  • Orientation: NEO, 2 days departmental
  • Scheduling: Weekend rotation, every other; Holiday expectations, work 75% of holidays

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients with conditions such as chest pain and syncope
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage tracheostomy care
  • Perform PIV starts and chest tube management
  • Administer medication gtt including cardiac drips, heparin, and blood products
  • Float to other units and facilities as needed within scope of practice

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Skills: General Med/Tele skillset, stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, drain management
