• Floating: Med/Surg units as needed
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute med/surg nursing experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Telemetry nursing or orthopedic nursing experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
• Comfort with core clinical skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, and EHR documentation
• Friendly, positive, and adaptable bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care to telemetry and med/surg orthopedic patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain timely, complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the broader acute care team
• Support patient recovery through strong clinical assessment and ongoing communication
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital unit environment
