Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of acute med/surg nursing experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Telemetry nursing experience and strong clinical assessment skills preferred
• Ortho nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Comfort working in an EHR environment; Meditech experience is helpful
• Friendly, positive, and patient-centered mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry and med/surg ortho patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with hospital protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the EHR
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Float to med/surg units as needed
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
