Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of acute med/surg nursing experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong telemetry and medical-surgical clinical skills
• Comfort working in a team-oriented, patient-centered setting
• Preferred experience with neuro, neuro-surgery, ortho, CVA, TIA, or AMS patients
• Experience with IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, and EHR documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care for med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and perform standard nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Support procedures such as continuous bladder irrigation and NGT insertion/maintenance
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Contribute to a friendly, positive, and patient-centered unit culture
