Unit Overview
The 5 Central Neuro Medical/Surgical Unit is a 30-bed department with approximately 60 staff members. The unit provides care to neurological and medical-surgical patients, with a strong focus on stroke care and neurological monitoring.

Stroke/NIH assessments
EEGs
Gastric decompression
Wound care
Neurological monitoring and medical-surgical patient care
