Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN with at least 18 months of experience for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Work in the Clinical Decision Unit at a hospital in Atlanta, GA
• 13-week contract assignment
• AM shift schedule with 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Manage telemetry patients requiring dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Manage non-cardiac drips such as heparin and insulin

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 18 months of recent nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
• Experience managing non-cardiac drips such as heparin and insulin required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients including monitoring, medication management, and drip administration
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
• RTO during holiday periods must be spread out rather than clustered on consecutive days
• Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time within this health system
