Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit requiring surgical, wound care, and PCA/Epidural experience along with a GA or compact license.

Details

• Work in the General Surgery Med/Surg unit of a hospital setting
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to charge if asked
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Surgical, wound care, and PCA/Epidural experience required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
