Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level 3 NICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of NICU experience, a TX or compact RN license, and flexible scheduling.

Details

• Level 3 NICU with 84 licensed beds divided between 2 floors
• Staffed with Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech
• Scheduling requires flexibility with no block scheduling
• Shift hours are 06:45-19:15
• May float to all units within and outside of Women's Hospital as a functional float without taking a patient assignment
• Uses Cerner (Compass Cerner) EMR

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current PALS certification (AHA) required
• Current NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Level 3 NICU setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
