Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a high-volume, high-risk delivery service requiring TX or compact RN license and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Work in OB Triage within a Level IV Maternal Designation facility
• Unit includes 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored Ante-partum beds
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage available
• Facility supports a Perinatal Transport Program
• Also covers Women's Emergency Department seeing patients from 16 weeks gestation to 6 weeks postpartum with expanded GYN scope
• Women's Emergency Department has 14 total beds
• Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
