Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-volume perinatal experience and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms
• 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds
• Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
• Perinatal Transport Program in place
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
