Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 4 maternal center, requiring high-risk maternal and OR circulating/triage experience.

Details

• 13-week contract assignment on a Level 4 designated maternal center unit
• 22-bed unit with 16 labor beds caring for complex patients at any gestation
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1
• Uses CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• No on-call requirements
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Unit performs vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement/removal, D&C, C-hyst, and PASD cases

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN) required - Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery specialty
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients required
• Circulating OR and triage experience required
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
